life in color cleveland
Tony and I attended a funeral in life in color cleveland yesterday for our friends' daughter. This is not the way the "circle of life works" and there were no words near adequate to comfort our dear friends.
This was a tremendous reminder that there are no certainties in life. You can never say I love you too much. You can never be too busy to hug the people you love, enjoy beautiful sunsets, or spend time coloring with a child.
It's so important NOT to live our life on "automatic p...ilot" because every single day, we have the opportunity to create new moments and memories and express gratitude.
I embrace technology and see the value of email, texting, Facebook etc. However, there is nothing better than picking up the phone and calling a friend you care about or miss.or actually taking the time to mail a card!
No matter what I achieve in my life, my children and grandchildren are my most precious blessings and greatest achievements. I'm also cherish my family and amazing friendships and every person I'm connected to on Facebook.
I usually don't express my gratitude on Facebook, but today I do want each of you to know I'm a better person because each of you has touched my life. I also hope I've motivated you to reach out to those you love and create wonderful moments and memories starting today.
