high cortisol levels
Can I just tell you how difficult it's been for me to just "rest"! I was just sharing with my ladies in our accountability group this morning about the importance of rest.
Not enough sleep. Too much stress. Go. Go. Go. Go. Eventually it takes its toll and wears us down. Physically. Mentally. And our health gets. Compromised. Increased high cortisol levels levels. Increased belly fat. High blood pressure. Anxiety. Ugh.
So I did it. I went to bed before 11. I slept for 7.5 uninterrupted hours. I'm refreshed and ready to tackle today. But, it's not just one day. It's changes. Decompressing. Reducing stress and more relaxation. Less worry = less anxiety! You can workout all day every day but if your stress levels are through the roof you won't reap the benefits! Cheers to a new day and feeling better!
